My mom and I kicked off the project to renovate Pumpkin Park a few months after Isabel passed away in August 2019.

Leslie is my aunt and my godmother and our fabulous architect for this project.

Johnny is our good friend and talented landscape designer in Houston who is helping us with the beautiful greenery in this park.

Beth White and the dedicated staff of Houston Parks Board are the project managers for this renovation.

Kenneth Allen and his team at HPARD, who work tirelessly all year to help over 300 parks in the City, are helping us understand how the park currently runs and ways we can help improve upon it.

For years, Susan has headed the Friends group. She has done so much for the park including raising money to renovate the playground of the park in 2014. She knows the park so incredibly well and has been a wonderful source of support in making our dream come true.

Kim Sterling, Jennifer Arnold, Amanda George and Andrea Romero are making our lives so much easier by doing the heavy lifting on this project.
